The Noetic
The Noetic is a shared story between two makers, born from a love of candles, the English countryside, Clarkson's Farm, and slow homestead living.
What began as a romantic weekend away in an old stone cottage, surrounded by a crackling fireplace and the rolling hills in the Adelaide countryside, soon became something more. We found ourselves drawn to the slower way of living, as we fell inlove with the english program, Clarksons farm, rooted in simplicity, community, craftsmanship, and connection.
As we looked ahead to our own growing family and the life we hoped to build, we felt a desire to create something of our own. Not simply a business, but a body of work that reflected the things we value most: home, tradition, quality, and the beauty found in everyday moments.
What started as conversations around the dinner table soon became late nights, blending fragrances, brainstorming ideas, testing candles, and dreaming about what The Noetic could become. Those early days shaped the foundation of our first collection, inspired by old cottages and the stories held within their walls.
Today, The Noetic remains a reflection of that beginning: a collection of thoughtfully crafted candles and homewares, created to bring warmth, comfort, and a sense of belonging into your home.
Meet the Makers
Coco is the heart and hands of The Noetic, curating our signature collection of storytelling candles.
Often found with her head buried in a book since she was small, her loves were of hobgoblins and fairfolk; of whispering meadows and castles in the sky. Trading faeries for The Shire and fire-breathing dragons, her love for fantasy grew with time into classic literature.
Perhaps it was the adventures in her stories that propelled her to move abroad for years to live in the United Kingdom. It was there where Coco founded and grew her first ever candle business, whose products were revered across many countries throughout Europe and the UK. With the experience gathered, and newfound friends for life, she returned to Australia with a longing in her heart for the world she had created so very far away.
Alongside her, every step of the way is Jamie, her knight in shining armour, who traded the rolling green hills of England for life in Australia, this brit born boy is commonly located in his study whenever he has a spare moment, that too is filled with books and a shrine to Tolkien. Jamie quietly keeps everything moving behind the scenes.
From markets, events, studio management, and his ever-growing Excel spreadsheet of important matters like “expenses” and “insurance” (like who has time for that?), Jamie is the mind and muscle that brings this venture to life. The one who keeps the “dreamer” from running away with the faeries and kept on task.
